Mytikas is a seaside village on the west side of the prefecture of Etoloakarnania.
It is so named because it is located on a pointed ledge of the land towards the Ionian Sea. The village is located in an area rich in vegetation and beaches of turquoise waters. There are well-preserved mansions, houses with traditional architecture and a port for fishing boats and yachts [2]. It is a popular destination in summer and is a connection point with the island of Kalamos which is very close.
